The crash occurred at about 11 a.m. on the parkway southbound at milepost 7.2 in Middle Township, according to New Jersey State Police.
Based on preliminary information, the dump truck struck the guardrail and overturned into the median spilling sand across the roadway, State Police said.
No injuries were reported and the roadway was reopened at approximately 1 p.m. but the left lane was closed and hour later for approximately two hours for guardrail repair, police said.
